NYLON x JUICY COUTURE Holiday 2012 Collection Preview

NYLON SG x JUICY COUTURE 2012 HOLIDAY COLLECTION PREVIEW
14th NOVEMBER 2012
1900-2100HRS
TAKASHIMAYA, SINGAPORE

NYLON SG recently teamed up with Juicy Couture for their 2012 Holiday Collection held on Wednesday night, 14th November 2012. The event was hosted by NYLON’s very own editor-in-chief, Adele Chan, who shared with us style tips on creating looks for this festive season. There were models present to pose for the outfits, to give us a preview of how to put the look together. They were super tall, and friendly when asked to have their picture taken. DJ Rozz, who graced the cover of this month’s NYLON SG, made a guest appearance for the night too! She was styled in this fierce and cosy Juicy Couture black jumper with a pink leopard print and threw on a fur coat to complete the look. It was major glam and rock star. And she also kindly autographed and posed for pictures afterwards. Local blogger, Xiaxue, was unable to join us for the event due to personal commitments. We had the privilege of viewing the screening of the fashion film starring Karlie Kloss and were treated to refreshments, a complimentary crystal tattoo service where we could bling our phones on the spot at their lovely booth, and an Instant Photography booth for us to create our own self-styling look and participate in a contest! There was also a lucky draw which we signed up for at the door, a styling demonstration and 3 lucky attendees walked away with a set Juicy Couture vouchers and accessories! The top prize included this lush and gorgeous Juicy Couture bag that came with its fuchsia pink JC box! Adore! Everyone had a fun time at the photo booth and browsing around the store. Jialing and I spotted these funky cool watches and tried them on for some wrist swag. We also had our eyes on their leather wallets, leopard print bags and skull pendants! To-die-for! What’s more is that they were having 15% off their items for the night! :) How cool! As the event came to a close around 2100hrs, we were spoilt with a goodie bag that came with a black JC T-shirt and a perfume sample! Thank you so much Juicy Couture and NYLON SG for all these precious treats, we had a blast! ;)

The Analog Girl album launch party!

Tonight You’re Mine by The Analog Girl
Late Night at Esplanade
08 November 2012
0930-1045hrs
The Esplanade, Singapore

Had a spectacular time at The Analog Girl’s album launch at The Esplanade on Thursday night. It was definitely a night to remember. Own a copy of her THE TV IS ON album and I finally got to see her perform live! Tonight’s special guests were Andy Yang, Afiq Omar and Brandon Tay. The visuals were sick! It was a real visual treat, I really admire their work and style. ;) I think it was a great collaboration and a beautiful thing to see people come together with what they have and create something. Hope to see more of their works! Bought the vinyl and matching canvas tote bag after the show! Buy TONIGHT YOUR LOVE on iTunes here!

Washi Tapes from NBC

Washi tapes from NBC

Found these lovely washi tapes while at NBC recently. Thought they were rather pretty and wanted to add them to my collection. Have always had a love for butterflies and more recently, floral prints. The ones here have a vintage-inspired, French and girly feel to them. They might come in handy for some future DIY and craft projects. ;)
